Here at Oak Farm Junior School, we are committed to the provision of an ambitious, stimulating and broad education for our pupils. We encourage a happy, friendly atmosphere in which the children thrive. With an emphasis on every child developing their abilities to the full, we seek to instil a love of learning, a sense of enquiry and the ability to think for oneself. It is an important aim of ours to support each child in their development of self-esteem, self- confidence and respect of the needs of others.
We have an enthusiastic, resourceful and dedicated team of staff and governors who care about the needs of every child, seeking to provide the best possible school environment for all our pupils.
We set high expectations and want to give our children every opportunity to become confident and independent learners. We work closely with parents to ensure this happens and recognise the importance of good communication between home and school.
We are fortunate to have our own playing field, a playground (comprising three netball courts), an adventure play area, a pond, a garden and a wildlife area.
Our aim is to help the children to reach their full potential, to develop their social awareness and we encourage every child to take part in a variety of school activities.
The school provides an extensive range of extra-curricular activities and it is our intention to educate the children for life, not only for their school days.
